personality;; april is very outgoing and energetic. she has adhd and ocd, so she's constantly having to have things organized and she's always very energetic. though she has adhd, she's taking medication for it so her focus is much better. still, she has a hard time sitting still. she's big into jogging, as well as volleyball and working out in the gym, which is how she stays fit. april loves to just kick back and relax, but she has quite the curious side. when something interests april, which is often, she will do all she can to figure out what she wan't to know. secrets aren't kept secrets from april for the most part, because she's very trustworthy.

she's rather protective of her friends, and she's always there for them. april doesn't exactly enjoying fighting, but if a friend is in trouble she'll be the first to step up and kick someone's ass. she loves to shop, and it shows. never will she be seen in an outfit twice, unless it's pajamas, and she constantly helps her friends to dress better. she doesn't like it when people just throw on clothes without make up, so she usually helps people out with that.

history;; april felicity summers was born to vincent j. and anna-marie s. summers on st. patrick's day in nineteen ninety two. she was a beautiful girl from the start, and had great potential. once april was three, her parents had fraternal twins, a boy named marcus andrew and a girl named may belle. april got along well with her siblings, and she even found them to be great company to have. april's parents worked a lot, so they left the kids with a babysitter most of the time. april got everything she wanted, and spent a lot of her time on the beach. when she went into kindergarden, april made a good friend with a girl named dawn avery cole.

april never told anybody but dawn about her parents constantly being gone, being the social butterfly that she was. she lied, telling people that her parents bought her things just because, not because they were gone and just making up for it. when she turned seven, april started surfing lessons as well as piano and ballet classes. she enjoyed the surfing because the beach was like a home away from home, but piano was tedious and ballet just bored her. so, she quit both without an arguement from her parents and got a pony named butterscotch that she soon learned to ride.

it wasn't until she turned twelve and a half that she really hit puberty and blossomed. also around that time she started noticing something was wrong. whenever april would get upset or angry, lights around her would flicker, televisions would turn off and on or switch channels, and all of the electricity around her just started acting up. she asked her mother about it one day, and found out that her mother had elemental powers as well. april mastered her electricity in no time it seemed, which was in fact one year. that next year another power struck, one that caused objects to either repel from her or to come nearer when under stress or upset.

she started attending st. augustine's when she turned fourteen, just after she reached level three in her second power. april found out that it was rare that people had more than one power, and that her and her best friend were both very powerful. it was when she was fifteen that disaster struck. her best friend had come running to her house one day, upset at her parents. april's mother was off that day, and she had to run some errands so she decided she'd take dawn back home. april tagged along, to find her friend's home on fire. it was a horrible day, and april cried when she found out that dawn's parents had died in that fire.

april managed to keep focus on her school work, as well as find out about a group of kids starting a plot to take down the school. the plot had been a rumor since her junior year, but then this year she heard that it was actually starting up. she decided to form a group to take down those who wanted to ruin the school, and since she was rather popular, she took action. she still doesn't know what to do about the other group, but she's working on trying to stop them, no matter what the costs.
